General Policies Governing All Admissions

 


 

Final acceptance of students and grade level placement is based upon completion of the entire admission process. This includes, if invited, an interview between parents, child, and administration.

Enrollment for students is understood to be for the full school year. Withdrawals from school must be made through the school office and a withdrawal form must be completed 7 days prior to withdrawal. Please see the Enrollment Agreement (which is included in the enrollment packet) for full details regarding withdrawal procedures and any resulting tuition/fee liability.

A student is expected to meet the academic standards of the school.  He/She must be willing to abide by the regulations and customs of ACA, in attitude and action.

Arkansas Christian Academy Administration reserves the right to dismiss a student whose presence is considered detrimental to the best interests of the school, in general. The school reserves the right to refuse re-admittance to any student at the beginning of any semester.


Please note:
ACA does not admit students who have been suspended or expelled from another school/preschool.

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by August 1st.



New Students - A student is admitted to Arkansas Christian Academy based on the following:

  • Satisfactory completion of all application documents and payment of all fees in full.
  • Receipt of complete academic and disciplinary record from previous school and references from current/previous pastor and teacher.
  • Interview with parent and student by an admissions panel, if selected.
  • Satisfactory results on placement test, if applicable (grade placement will be determined by administration).
  • Must provide a copy of current Immunization Record and Birth Certificate.
  • Agreement to comply with policies and procedures of Arkansas Christian Academy.
  • Completion of all Enrollment documents, which includes our Enrollment Agreement/Contract, as well as payment of the Enrollment Deposit.   

 


 

Returning Students - A returning student is re-admitted to Arkansas Christian Academy based on the following:

  • Satisfactory completion of the Enrollment Agreement/Contract and payment of the Enrollment Deposit. 
  • Satisfactory academic performance and conduct. NOTE:  any student not maintaining a C average, suspended, or exceeding 3 office referrals may only be accepted on a probationary basis.
  • Updated Immunization Record, if applicable.
  • Parent involvement and support.
  • All financial obligations having been satisfied.
  • Failure to complete any of these requirements will result in administrative fees and/or withdrawal of the student.

 

Withdrawal/Dismissal from ACA

 

All fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. Please see your signed Enrollment Agreement for details regarding procedures and any associated payment liability. Withdrawals from school must be made through the school office and a withdrawal form must be completed and returned 7 days prior to withdrawal.  Records will not be released until the student's account is current. If a student attends any portion of a month, the entire month’s tuition must be paid.  All withdrawals are subject to approval from the administration. A student may be dismissed when he/she (or his/her family) is found to be out of harmony with the rules and policies of the school.
