A Beka, a well-established Christian curriculum, is taught in grades K - 5.  This traditional approach to the content areas of Language Arts (phonics, reading, spelling, writing, grammar, handwriting), Arithmetic, Science, Social Studies, and Health serves to lay a solid academic foundation, which prepares our students to become successful contributors to their world. The overall academic program is enhanced by participation in weekly activities, such as Music, Art, Physical Education, Spanish, and Computer classes.

Students in Elementary enjoy a structured classroom environment to best facilitate academic success.  Teachers at ACA strive to stimulate learning by incorporating fun and interesting lessons that encourage class participation.  Students work independantly, and occasionally in small groups, if needed.  With smaller class sizes, teachers are able to provide more one-on-one interaction to ensure students fully understand the subject matter being covered.
